Aluminium parts

Here are some parts made by the company by AUVL, in aluminium.

Aluminium is a soft and light but very strong metal, it is both easy to handle and not very prone to corrosion. Of the different of most metals, it is usable even if it is oxidezed on the surface. Without this oxide layer, it would be unsuitable for most of its applications. It also has good thermal and electrical conductivity.

 

Aluminium is mainly found in bauxite, an ore from which alumina is extracted. This is rock is the main ore for the production of aluminium and gallium.

Differents types of alloys are created from aluminium to improve its capabilities.
